Description For Frontend Engineer II, Ground Control Console

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, aimed at providing high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. As a Frontend Engineer II on the Ground Control Console team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the operational tooling systems that power this space mission.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of frontend development and space technology. You'll be responsible for creating performant applications that support critical mission functions, from launch operations to on-orbit demonstrations. The role requires strong frontend development skills, with a focus on JavaScript frameworks and a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals.

Working with cross-functional teams across ground and space systems, you'll help deliver integrated solutions that ensure mission success. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity and comprehensive medical coverage.

This is an ideal opportunity for a mid-level frontend engineer who wants to make a meaningful impact by helping bridge the digital divide through space technology. You'll be part of a team that prioritizes building scalable, reliable, and adaptable systems, working on challenging problems at a massive scale.
