Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious low Earth orbit satellite broadband network initiative, aimed at delivering fast, reliable internet globally. This role focuses on designing and implementing standardized test equipment for manufacturing facilities.

As an Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer, you'll work with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize manufacturing test infrastructure. Key responsibilities include conducting complex system-level analyses, driving technical strategy, and implementing processes for effective communication between partner teams.

The position requires expertise in embedded systems, test equipment configuration, and project management. You'll lead technical risk assessments, establish test strategies, and optimize test system design while balancing performance, schedule, cost, and scalability requirements.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $116,300 to $201,200 based on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Amazon's space technology initiatives while working with cutting-edge manufacturing systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux/Windows systems, modern programming languages (Python, Rust, Go, Java), and a track record of implementing process improvements in manufacturing environments. Experience with contract manufacturers and embedded software deployment is highly valued.

This position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to export control regulations. Join Amazon's Project Kuiper team to help shape the future of global internet connectivity through innovative satellite technology.
