Description For Jr. Electrical Engineer

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Jr. Electrical Engineer to join their global engineering team focused on data center infrastructure. This role is crucial in designing and innovating AWS's expanding data center footprint. As part of Engineers AWS Infrastructure Services, you'll be responsible for keeping the cloud running through the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex, multi-million dollar designs supporting various AWS businesses and customers. You'll collaborate with a diverse team including software, hardware, and network engineers, while working on critical electrical distribution systems. The role requires hands-on electrical design experience and understanding of data center critical equipment needs.

Responsibilities For Jr. Electrical Engineer

  • Data center electrical designs and collaboration with other disciplines
  • Creation of designs meeting quality and budgetary requirements

Requirements For Jr. Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or 6+ years of relevant electrical experience
  • 1+ year of experience with industrial or commercial electrical design
  • 1+ year experience developing design documentation for construction and/or permitting
