Live Ops Support Engineer, Prime Video Playback Live Operations

Prime Video is seeking a Live Ops Support Engineer to join their Playback Live Operations team. This role is crucial in shaping the future of live events and television streaming at Amazon.

As a Live Ops Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality live sports and music events globally
• Performing pre-event checks and troubleshooting audio/video/OTT issues
• Working with development teams to improve service support
• Operating independently to drive issue resolution
• Developing and testing operational automation tools
• Creating and maintaining support documentation
• Training new staff and measuring support success

The Amazon Video Operations Center (AVOC) team focuses on providing disruption-free live events through quick issue mitigation and resolution. The role involves monitoring playback through automated alerts and traditional broadcast monitoring methods, collaborating with global engineering teams, and continuous service improvement.
