Network Development Engineer, GCNA

The AWS Global Connectivity and Network Availability (GCNA) Organization is seeking a Network Development Engineer for their EDGE team. This role involves partnering with the Infrastructure organization on configuration standards and tools, while collaborating with Systems and Software Engineers to ensure efficient deployment of new designs and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and optimizing internet traffic flow between data centers and customers
• Building and designing complex backbone networks
• Deploying and maintaining networking software tools
• Ensuring network stability and sustainability

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

• Major internet routing protocols
• Linux/Unix environments
• Automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl
• TCP/IP networking, IP routing, and network security architecture
