Principal Systems Development Engineer, Region Services

AWS is seeking a Principal Systems Development Engineer to join their Region Services team in London. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, focusing on DevOps, SRE, and Systems Development. The position involves working with AWS's massive-scale infrastructure, helping implement innovative cloud computing solutions and tackling complex technical challenges.

The role will be instrumental in preparing and supporting the ADC (AWS Dedicated Cloud) launch, with initial focus on operational improvements and automation in 2025. By 2026, the role will expand to understanding and addressing new customer needs, potentially leading to new AWS service features and capabilities.

As a Principal Engineer, you'll lead cross-functional teams, define engineering standards, and drive operational excellence.
