Job Description

Amazon Music is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Voice Internationalization QA Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality of Amazon Music's voice experience across international markets. The position involves working with Amazon Music's various tiers of service, including Prime Music, Amazon Music Unlimited, and Ad-supported Free Tier.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading efforts to improve how customers interact with Amazon Music through voice commands. You'll be working in an agile environment, focusing on innovating for customers while maintaining the highest quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions.

As a QAE, you'll be involved in comprehensive testing strategies, including both manual and automated testing approaches. You'll work closely with Software Development Engineers to understand technical architectures and implement features effectively. The position offers the opportunity to influence how Amazon Music engages with fans, artists, and creators on a global scale.

Key responsibilities include developing QA approaches for the Voice Experience ecosystem, executing test cases, bug tracking and resolution, and being a vocal advocate for quality throughout the development process. You'll be part of a team that believes Amazon Music on Alexa is the world's best voice-enabled music experience, working to make it even better.

Responsibilities For Quality Assurance Engineer, Amazon Music

  • Understanding how all elements of the Voice Experience ecosystem work together
  • Develop and execute manual & automated tests and test plans
  • Finding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
  • Interpret and report testing results
  • Work with Software Development Engineers to understand technical architecture
  • Ensure the highest quality product delivery
  • Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies

Requirements For Quality Assurance Engineer, Amazon Music

  • 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in German
