Responsibilities For Robotics Systems Engineer II, Amazon Robotics Deployment Engineering

  • Oversee installation, troubleshooting, integration, and commissioning of Amazon Robotics equipment
  • Lead teams of 1-5 engineers during deployments
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders including third-party installers and contractors
  • Develop and modify process documentation
  • Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical and network systems
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support quality hand-off, live order testing, and site acceptance testing
  • Monitor system performance and resolve escalations

Requirements For Robotics Systems Engineer II, Amazon Robotics Deployment Engineering

Linux
  • BS degree in Engineering or closely related STEM field
  • 3+ years working on mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems
  • 2+ years experience with technical drawings and/or reading CAD models
  • 2+ years working in a field setting including construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
  • 1+ years experience with troubleshooting robotics systems
  • 1+ years experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools
  • Valid US drivers license
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time
