SDE II - Multimedia, Hardware Compute Group

Join Amazon's innovative Display Engineering team as an SDE-II Display Engineer working on cutting-edge display technology. This role focuses on Dolby Vision integration and HDMI 2.1b standards implementation within embedded systems. As part of the Multimedia Team, you'll work alongside Graphics, Camera, Video Codec, and secure component experts.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with Dolby Vision technology, enhance visual experiences in embedded systems, and gain expertise in HDMI 2.1b compliance. You'll collaborate with senior engineers on optimizing display pipelines for advanced SoC implementations while receiving mentorship from experienced SDE-III engineers.

Your daily responsibilities will include panel integration, MIPI-DSI and HDMI driver development, resolving display issues, and implementing new features. You'll work with various teams including hardware engineers, SoC developers, and panel manufacturers' technical support. The role involves using technologies like Linux kernel development, DRM/KMS subsystems, Yocto, Gerrit, and GitLab.
