Job Description

The Global Services, Security (GSS) team at Amazon Web Services is seeking a passionate and innovative Security Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in establishing scalable security solutions for both internal and external customers. The position sits within the Security Escalations team, responsible for the security of services offered by Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS).

As a Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of protecting AWS's infrastructure and customers. You'll work on triaging security incidents, implementing security mechanisms, and developing automation tools to enhance operational efficiency. The role requires strong technical skills combined with excellent communication abilities, as you'll be coordinating with various teams across AWS.

Your responsibilities will include leading security incident response, developing security tooling, and contributing to the broader security community within AWS.
