Responsibilities For Security Engineer, AWS Security
- Research, identify, and prioritize security problems that can be detected using automation
- Develop detection prototypes for security problems to enhance detection capabilities
- Build and manage services that detect and automate mitigation of cybersecurity threats
- Work with data scientists and software engineers across teams
- Identify opportunities to prevent security issues at scale
Requirements For Security Engineer, AWS Security
- 3+ years of experience performing security investigations, detection engineering, threat hunting, and/or incident response
- Understanding of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors
- Knowledge of host and network telemetry data
- Understanding of network and web related protocols
- Ability to develop code with Python
- Legal right to work in Ireland
