Responsibilities For Security Engineer II, Customer Service Security Response Operations (CSSRO)

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on incident response & technical investigation lifecycle
  • Respond to Incidents in a timely manner, providing leadership & guidance to security analysts
  • Conduct deep-dive investigations into threat and fraud abuse reports and detections
  • Influence service teams across Amazon to develop systems and processes with security best practices
  • Design & Build security-related services for internal customers
  • Develop and mentor other security engineers, analysts, investigators, and software developers

Requirements For Security Engineer II, Customer Service Security Response Operations (CSSRO)

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of work in related technical roles (threat hunting, threat intelligence, security data analysis)
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • 3+ years of experience using data analysis tools and technologies (SQL, Jupyter, R, Python)
  • 3+ years of experience with incident handling/response, active attacks / live scenarios / applied computer security
