Senior ADC Engineer, Platform Engineering & Emerging Technology

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior ADC Engineer to join their Platform Engineering & Emerging Technology (PEET) team. This role is a unique opportunity to work with the world's leading cloud platform, specifically focusing on AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, and Systems Manager services in dedicated regions.

The position requires a skilled engineer who understands both Agile methodset and DevOps philosophies, with the ability to think outside the box and reinvent systems, processes, and tools. You'll be working with some of the largest compliance and governance services globally, requiring expertise in Operations, Networking, and Systems Engineering.

As a Senior ADC Engineer, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud computing solutions for U.S. Government agencies, particularly within the Intelligence Community. The role involves working with cutting-edge technology to build and operate some of the largest distributed systems in the world.

Key responsibilities include investigating and improving operations, maintaining service health through metric analysis, deploying AWS services from hardware to software, and participating in on-call rotations. You'll also be involved in optimizing solutions for isolated networks and ensuring security best practices are followed.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $139,500 to $210,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
