You'll work with state-of-the-art technology including conveyors, sortation systems, and SCADA devices, while providing proactive controls automation and technical support.

Your responsibilities include troubleshooting complex control systems, analyzing performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You'll mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment (MHE) systems. The role requires expertise in PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks, and electrical distribution systems.

The position offers competitive compensation ($102,600 - $163,000 based on location), comprehensive healthcare benefits from day one, a matching 401(k) program, and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave. You'll work in a dynamic environment that values innovation and operational excellence, directly impacting Amazon's ability to deliver products to customers with signature speed and accuracy.

Key technical areas include working with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys Ladder Logic, robotics work cells, and control systems. You'll need to be comfortable with both hands-on technical work and leadership responsibilities, including mentoring team members and communicating with senior leadership. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays, and physical capabilities to perform maintenance tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automation professional looking to work with cutting-edge technology while making a significant impact on one of the world's largest logistics operations.
