Software Dev Engineer Intern, (Devices) 2025 Beijing

Amazon Devices team is seeking talented Software Development Engineer interns to join their Beijing office. This is an opportunity for graduating students to work on cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions that impact millions of customers worldwide.

The role offers hands-on experience in embedded systems development, working with a team that focuses on device innovation and customer-centric solutions. As an SDE intern, you'll be tackling significant technical challenges that affect millions of buyers, sellers, and products globally.

The position requires a commitment of 4-5 full days per week for at least 3 months, based in the Jiu Xian Qiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing office. This internship is specifically for students graduating between October 2025 and September 2026, with an expected start date before June 2025.

Amazon's development cycles are rapid, typically measured in weeks rather than years, providing interns with fast-paced, real-world experience. The role offers exposure to large-scale systems and the opportunity to work on projects from inception to deployment.

Preferred qualifications include experience in image/video analysis and coding, multimedia content understanding, computer vision, machine learning (particularly with TensorFlow Lite or other inference engines), and embedded platform optimization. Knowledge of software architecture design and experience with large complex systems is a plus.
