Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Engineer in the VisXP team, where security is the top priority. This role focuses on building innovative security solutions that protect AWS customers at massive scale. You'll be working with data from millions of sources, supporting hundreds of AWS teams in their security initiatives.

As an SDE-II, you'll be responsible for making quick decisions and executing them to meet patching visibility goals. Your role involves enhancing current products and developing new service offerings to support AWS Security objectives. You'll collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand business value and deliver effective security solutions.

The position requires strong technical skills and leadership capabilities, as you'll be mentoring junior engineers and serving as a technical escalation point. You'll be actively involved in code reviews and will work to improve service stability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements For Software Development Engineer, AVM Visibility Expansions (VisXP)

  • Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Must be a national of an EU member state
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
