Software Development Engineer, Devices Offline Retail DS2

Join Amazon's Device Subscription programs team to develop backend services and experiences that power one of the primary revenue sources for Amazon Devices business. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative device launches and improve customer experience on Amazon.com while building Amazon-scale distributed systems. The team is responsible for Amazon Devices subscriptions and memberships checkout and entitlement services, focusing on improving customer experience for Amazon customers worldwide.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll be part of a new multi-year initiative to re-envision the Device Subscription experience on Amazon.com from the ground up. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including distributed systems, SDK development, React Native, TypeScript, and AWS backend services. The position offers unique exposure to technologies used in devices, subscriptions, and e-commerce platforms.

The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, allowing you to contribute to building software products and features from scratch. You'll collaborate with Product Managers to develop new e-commerce systems and have the freedom to explore innovative solutions. The initiative has high visibility, reporting to directors and VP level, making it a key organizational launch goal.
