Join Amazon's FireTV team as a Software Development Engineer working on cutting-edge TV viewing experiences. The FireTV 3P engineering team is responsible for bringing enchanting FireTV experiences to third-party devices, with the mission to disrupt TV viewing experience and impact billions of viewers and devices. This is a greenfield opportunity to build tools and technologies that will redefine how 3P partners build their TVs on the FireTV ecosystem.

As a member of the team, you'll work closely with business partners, engineers, testers, and UI/UX designers to design and implement complex software applications. You'll have significant influence on overall strategy, helping define product features, drive system architecture, and establish best practices. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and the chance to develop well-rounded skills including leadership and project management.

  • Design, develop, implement, test, and document distributed software applications, tools, systems and services
  • Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions
  • Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools
