Software development Engineer - Identity Access Management, Kuiper Enterprise Technology

Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network aimed at delivering fast, reliable internet to customers worldwide. The Kuiper IT & Digital Operation team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to work on Identity Access Management (IAM).

The role involves building and delivering user, device, and service identities for Kuiper's business operations, developing RBAC and ABAC services, and creating secure services using x509 Certificates for Digital Signatures and Encryption. You'll be working with cloud-native software systems in Go and utilizing AWS technologies to build highly-available services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with Export and Kuiper Security teams
• Developing identity management solutions
• Building secure authentication and authorization systems
• Creating performant systems meeting mission criteria
• Mentoring team members

The position requires a U.S. Citizenship due to export control requirements. The compensation package includes competitive base pay ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 depending on location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits.
