Software Development Engineer II, Amazon

Join Amazon's Digital Royalties and Vendor Payments team as a Software Development Engineer II, where you'll tackle complex technical challenges that directly impact business and customers. As part of the Digital Acceleration org, you'll help build next-generation solutions for royalty calculation, payment, and accounting processes across Amazon's digital businesses including Books, Prime Video, Music, Appstore, Audible, Games, and Alexa.

The role offers an opportunity to work as a technical leader, independently defining architecture for financial automation programs while influencing the technical direction of multiple teams. You'll collaborate with passionate software engineers, learn from experienced technical leaders, and work with cutting-edge AWS and Big Data technologies.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in building highly scalable, highly available services, strong technical skills, and excellent analytical reasoning abilities. The team's systems enable royalty calculations and vendor payments for various Amazon Digital businesses, including Kindle eBooks, Prime Video, Amazon Appstore, Amazon Music, and Digital Software & Video Games.
