Software Development Engineer, Route 53

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Route 53 team in Herndon, VA. Route 53 is AWS's highly available and scalable Domain Name System (DNS) service, operating in over 50 locations worldwide. The role involves working on sophisticated DNS functionality including latency-based routing, Private DNS, Geo DNS routing, and AWS service integrations.

The ideal candidate will tackle complex technical challenges across databases, networking, distributed systems, and security. You'll be responsible for developing new features, improving existing capabilities, and ensuring the reliable operation of critical DNS infrastructure.
