Solutions Design Engineer, SSD Solutions

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer to join their innovative team focused on designing next-generation Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs). This role sits within the Robotic Storage Technology organization, specifically in the SSD Solutions team. The team is responsible for designing storage systems for Sub-Same-Day business, combining fulfillment and last-mile operations to deliver packages within 5 hours of customer orders.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-performance physical systems, strong technical problem-solving abilities, and excellent project management skills. You'll be working on analyzing and optimizing existing Robotic FC performance while incorporating cutting-edge technologies to design new state-of-the-art robotic material handling systems.

The SSD Solutions team currently supports 76 live SSD sites in the US and is launching a new automated storage and retrieval system. The team is expected to double in size to meet growing demands from both internal initiatives and customer needs.
