As a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer, you'll be part of a vertically integrated team environment delivering state-of-the-art System-on-Chips (SoCs) that customers love. The role involves working with the latest in AI, video processing, and low power communications technologies.
You'll drive early architectural and micro-architectural decisions that help reduce time-to-revenue, working in an integrated verification/validation environment from architectural modeling through to post-silicon validation. The team focuses on building super-low power, energy-efficient designs incorporating the latest CMOS fabrication technology.
This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $143,300 to $247,600 based on location and experience, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, requiring both deep technical knowledge and strong communication skills. Responsibilities For Sr. ASIC Verification Engineer, Blink/Ring ASIC Team
- Define architecture specifications based on requirements from product teams
- Create microarchitecture specifications suitable for being implemented by junior engineers
- Evaluate 3rd party IP blocks
- Estimate power, performance, and area for significant IPs early in design cycle
- Execute on design specifications to deliver high quality RTL
- Ensure quality by running and tracking results of front-end tools
- Take the lead and work with verification teams to define functional coverage
- Work with pre-silicon verification teams to assist in defining testplans/testbenches
- Work with post-silicon validation teams to define and execute on testplans
- Write high quality documents to guide and lead a scalable team
Requirements For Sr. ASIC Verification Engineer, Blink/Ring ASIC Team
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in digital design
- Experience with products that have gone to volume production
- Hands on experience in low power design techniques
- Strong written and verbal skills
