As a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer on the Amazon Business Flywheel Inputs Analytics team, you'll be instrumental in deal response analytics. Responsibilities For Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, Managed Spend Response

  • Work closely with BIEs, DEs, and Scientists in the team and collaborate with product managers
  • Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles
  • Identify opportunities for improvement or automation in existing data processes
  • Use best practices on data integrity, design, test, implementation, documentation
  • Mentor and guide junior members in the team
  • Contribute to supplier operations strategy development based on data analysis
  • Lead strategic projects to formalize and scale organizational processes
  • Build and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly business review metrics
  • Build data reports and dashboards

Requirements For Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, Managed Spend Response

Python
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
  • Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field
  • Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
