Sr. DevOps Engineer, Customer Terminal Device Management

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious low Earth orbit satellite broadband network, designed to bring reliable internet connectivity to communities worldwide. As a Sr. DevOps Engineer in the Customer Terminal Device Management team, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers Kuiper's customer-facing technology.

The position involves designing and implementing sophisticated automation tools that streamline the development and operations of Kuiper's Customer Terminal embedded systems. You'll be responsible for managing production Customer Terminals, creating efficient testing processes, and enhancing R&D capabilities. The role requires expertise in Linux embedded systems, cloud technologies, and automation tools.

Working within the Kuiper Customer Terminal Software Team, you'll collaborate closely with hardware engineering, software development, and operations teams. Key responsibilities include building and operating Software Development Labs, managing software updates for both development and production terminals, implementing state management tools, and conducting E2E debugging of Customer Terminal issues. You'll need strong experience with Linux embedded systems, scripting languages, and cloud-native architectures.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $136,100 to $235,200 based on location, plus equity and additional benefits.
