AWS Machine Learning accelerators are leading AWS innovation in Generative AI development. The role is within the Annapurna Labs team, which is responsible for silicon development at AWS, focusing on the AWS Neuron Software Development Kit (SDK). The position involves working on the Neuron Compiler team, developing a deep learning compiler stack that converts neural network descriptions from frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and JAX into executable code.

The role requires expertise in compiler development and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge ML accelerator technology. The Inferentia chip and Trainium platforms deliver best-in-class ML inference and training performance in the cloud. The position involves working with major customers like Snap, Autodesk, Amazon Alexa, and Amazon Rekognition.

As a Senior Machine Learning Compiler Engineer, you'll be responsible for ground-up development of a compiler handling world's largest ML workloads, architecting critical features, publishing research, and collaborating with AWS ML services teams. The role involves pre-silicon design work and new product development.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. The role requires relocation to either Cupertino (preferred), Seattle, or Austin, combining the opportunity to work on revolutionary ML technology with the stability and resources of Amazon.
