Description For Sr Support Engineer

As a Senior Support Engineer in Amazon's International Seller Growth (ISG) Tech team, you will play a vital role in providing technical support for Amazon's global marketplace sellers. The position combines technical troubleshooting, system optimization, and customer service excellence. You'll be working with the ISG Team, whose mission is to enable worldwide sellers to succeed across Amazon's global marketplaces.

The role involves supporting key services for seller growth, participating in marketplace/region expansions, and managing infrastructure operations. You'll be responsible for identifying and addressing technical risks, maintaining application health, and working closely with development teams to improve product quality. The position requires strong technical skills in Unix, scripting, and distributed systems, combined with excellent communication abilities for interacting with both customers and senior management.

Requirements For Sr Support Engineer

Linux
  • 4+ years of software development or technical support experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Experience in Unix
  • Experience scripting in modern program languages
  • Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
  • Experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery
  • Experience operating highly available, distributed systems
  • Experience with implementing CI/CD practices and automated testing
