As a Support Engineer, you'll be part of a talented technical team building innovative world-class experiences for millions of Amazon customers. The role combines DevOps, infrastructure management, and technical support to ensure smooth operation of payment services across the MENA region.

You'll be responsible for developing automation tools, maintaining configurations, monitoring service health, and implementing recovery solutions. The role requires both technical depth in software development and breadth in systems troubleshooting.

Amazon Payment Services serves as the trusted payment network for Arabic-speaking countries and surrounding regions, enabling secure online transactions through popular payment methods. The team operates across major markets in the GCC & Levant countries, including UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan and Qatar.

Responsibilities For Support Engineer, Amazon Payment Services

  • Use AWS technology to manage infrastructure and services in multiple AWS regions
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
  • Develop and maintain automation, orchestration, and playbooks/scenarios
  • Design and implement tools for engineering and customer service teams
