Description For Support Engineer III, Ads Partner Experience & Growth

Our products are strategically important to our Retail and Marketplace businesses driving long term growth. We deliver billions of ad impressions and millions of clicks daily and are breaking fresh ground to create world-class products.

As a Support Engineer III in the Ads Partner Experience & Growth team, you will provide support to external customers as they build business-critical applications on Amazon's Advertising API. You will represent Amazon and our Advertising organization, investigating and working with API developers to ensure compliance with our API program policies. You'll develop processes to identify gaps in our technical solutions, address potential abuse of our API policies, and work on prevention strategies to improve the developer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving computer-identified alarms
  • Making feature enhancements and bug fixes
  • Performing software deployments and migrations
  • Developing tools and automations for human-free operations
  • Providing solutions to product and API-related questions
  • Writing code samples, tutorials, and technical articles for the developer community
  • Auditing partner behavior to ensure compliance with program policies
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive timely customer communication during critical events
