Amazon Payment Services is seeking a dynamic and customer-obsessed Integration Support Engineer to join their team. As a regional expert in payment processing technology across major GCC markets, we're looking for someone passionate about providing technical solutions to merchants. The role involves being part of the Integration team, which is responsible for merchant onboarding and technical support.

The position focuses on improving merchant experience and driving operational excellence following Amazon's Customer obsession philosophy. You'll be responsible for integrating merchants with our payment gateway efficiently while maintaining high satisfaction and quality standards. The role requires technical expertise in payment services, incident management, and system integration.

Key aspects of the role include managing high-severity incidents, understanding platform architecture, working with API documentation, and implementing troubleshooting techniques. You'll collaborate closely with Infosec and Tech teams to ensure payment security standards are met. The position involves deep technical analysis, merchant issue resolution, and participation in on-call duties.

Responsibilities For Support Engineer (Level 4), Amazon Payment Services

  • Provide dedicated integration support for all types of merchants
  • Develop subject matter expertise in payment services and handle escalations
  • Manage high severity incidents till resolution
  • Deal with ambiguity in technical requirements
  • Understand platform architecture and API documentation
  • Work with Infosec and Tech team to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities
  • Perform deep dive analysis to identify root causes of merchant issues

Requirements For Support Engineer (Level 4), Amazon Payment Services

  • 1+ years of technical support experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
