Description For System Development Engineer Internship – 2025 (CAN)

Amazon is seeking System Development Engineer interns to join their dynamic team for a 12-week internship program. This full-time position offers students the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading engineers, contributing to one of the most visited sites on the Internet. Interns will be matched with both a manager and mentor, working Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm.

The role involves hands-on experience in building and developing unique technology solutions to solve business and customer problems. Interns will have the chance to impact Amazon's technology evolution and lead mission-critical projects early in their careers. The position focuses on creating and improving tools and applications within larger systems, requiring knowledge of various technologies including hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.

This internship provides real-world experience in system engineering, with opportunities to write secure, stable, and maintainable code.   • Must be enrolled in an academic program physically located in Canada
  • Able to commit to 12-week internship working 40 hours/week
