Systems Development Engineer, ADC2S

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join their Utility Computing (UC) organization. This role is perfect for someone who loves automating and streamlining manual processes. As a Systems Development Engineer, you'll work with technical leaders to refine technical direction and implement innovative solutions through detailed review, designs, and code development.

The position is within AWS Utility Computing, which provides foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2, along with continuous product innovations that distinguish AWS in the industry. You'll be supporting the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services, including specialized security solutions for cloud services.

Key aspects of the role include building internal and external services within AWS software systems, understanding operational impacts of changes, and developing automation solutions. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, and you'll need to maintain appropriate clearances for different government agencies.
