Amazon Elastic VMware Service (EVS) team is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join their innovative cloud platform team. This role combines deep VMware expertise with cloud-scale engineering, focusing on helping customers run VMware-based workloads on AWS. As part of the AWS Commercial Applications team within Amazon EC2, you'll be at the forefront of defining and building integrations with external software applications in cloud environments.

Responsibilities For Systems Development Engineer, Amazon Elastic VMware Service(EVS)

Requirements For Systems Development Engineer, Amazon Elastic VMware Service(EVS)

  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
  • 5+ years of designing or architecting experience
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java
  • Hands on deep technical experience with VMware technologies, including, ESXi, vSAN, NSX and VCF
