Systems Engineer, Amazon Foundational Security Services

At Amazon, security is central to maintaining customer trust and delivering delightful customer experiences. The Amazon Foundational Security Services team is responsible for creating and maintaining a high security bar across all Amazon's products and services. This EU-based Operations team works integrated with Software Development teams to provide secure-by-default security services.

As a Systems Engineer, you'll be working on security technologies including access control design patterns, identity security services, authorization, authentication, and lifecycle management. Each day, you'll support systems handling billions of transactions worldwide on Amazon's cloud and retail platforms.

Key responsibilities include:
