The position involves working with core AWS services like EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, and Bedrock.
As a Systems Engineer in Managed Operations, you'll be at the forefront of the ESC launch in 2025, collaborating with global AWS teams to shape the future of AWS services. Your daily responsibilities will include working with technology leaders, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring optimal service performance metrics including availability, reliability, and latency.
The role is part of AWS Utility Computing (UC), which drives product innovations from foundational services to cutting-edge features. You'll be supporting various AWS services including Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps. A typical week involves reviewing operational health, executing planned changes, resolving operational issues, and developing automation tools to improve system efficiency.
This position requires EU citizenship and residency, with relocation support available within the EU.
