WiFi Software Development Engineer - eero, WiFi Team

eero, an Amazon company, is seeking a skilled WiFi System Development Engineer to enhance their home connectivity solutions. This role focuses on improving mesh and client connectivity experiences, making a direct impact on modern home networking technology.

The position involves working with eero's WiFi team, which is dedicated to providing the most secure, fast, and reliable WiFi router systems to customers. As a WiFi Software Development Engineer, you'll be hands-on with hardware while developing software, working on core technologies such as roaming, routing, and connectivity performance.

Key responsibilities include enhancing client connectivity, designing new roaming features, analyzing and solving connectivity problems, and improving wireless drivers and firmware. You'll work closely with testing teams for issue discovery and debugging, while also collaborating with core operating system, mobile, and cloud teams to deliver features.

The role offers opportunities to learn about the WiFi stack and contribute to various components, with direct hands-on experience with hardware during software development. You'll be part of a team that innovates on behalf of customers, working from design through development to quality assurance with dedicated labs.

This position requires strong software development experience, system architecture knowledge, and the ability to work with embedded systems.
