AnaVation, a leader in the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community, is seeking an Agentic-AI Software Engineer to join their team in Chantilly, VA. This role focuses on designing and developing advanced AI systems that can autonomously perform complex tasks and make decisions. The position requires expertise in large language models, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent systems, with a strong emphasis on production-grade implementations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience with a BS or 2 years with an MS in computer science or related fields, plus specific experience in AI/ML development. A key requirement is an active TS/SCI clearance. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including AWS Bedrock, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and various AI frameworks like LangChain and AutoGen.

Responsibilities For AI Software Engineer
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced agentic AI systems
- Architect and implement AI systems for autonomous decision-making
- Design and integrate multi-agent systems
- Develop and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning models
- Implement robust APIs and interfaces
- Optimize AI models for performance and scalability
- Conduct testing, validation, and monitoring of AI agents
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers
Requirements For AI Software Engineer
- Active TS/SCI clearance within last 24 months
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
- BS + 4 Yrs or MS + 2 Yrs experience in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with focus on Agentic AI or autonomous systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environment
