Responsibilities For Software Engineer Subject Matter Expert / Forensic Toolkit Lead Developer

  • Act as a subject matter expert for forensic tool portions of the customer code base
  • Lead design, development and analysis of customer operational and application systems
  • Lead maintenance efforts including system enhancements, bug fixes, and security enhancements
  • Deliver forensic tool builds using agile processes
  • Develop mechanisms to share results with other customer applications
  • Develop interfaces to exploit relationships between multiple collections of data
  • Establish and maintain an Application Programming Interface
  • Assess and ensure software performance and reliability
  • Integrate new data types and analytic tools
  • Deploy and maintain software and hardware within customer environments

Requirements For Software Engineer Subject Matter Expert / Forensic Toolkit Lead Developer

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access with CI polygraph
  • Technical experience in software development with digital forensics specialization
  • Expert knowledge of forensic analysis techniques
  • Experience in leading design and architecture of complex forensic software solutions
  • Experience processing petabytes of digital evidence
  • Proficiency in .Net programming languages
  • Familiarity with forensic standards and protocols
  • Experience with forensic software deployed in commercial cloud
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills
