Job Description

AnaVation, a leader in the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community, is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer for their Reston, VA location. This role combines DevOps, cloud engineering, and systems integration, working with cutting-edge technologies including AWS, Elastic, and Linux systems. The position requires a strong technical background with at least 4 years of experience and focuses on supporting mission-critical applications used by multiple Government Agencies.

Responsibilities For Systems Integration Engineer

  • Support customer meetings and quarterly Agile Development Planning
  • Provide technical support for planning, designing, testing, integrating software services
  • Work with AWS cloud services, including modernization of Elastic, RHEL, WSUS
  • Develop and deliver new capabilities
  • Support existing infrastructure and applications
  • Install, configure, and automate provisioning of resources
  • Develop test data and system testing
  • Monitor and manage system resources
  • Serve as team expert for design, setup, and configuration of environments

Requirements For Systems Integration Engineer

  • TS/SCI Clearance Eligible, willing to obtain polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field
  • DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications
  • 4 years of relevant technical experience
  • 2 years of AWS production delivery experience
  • 2 years of Linux development and production delivery
  • 2 years of Agile programs for Government programs
  • Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell, .net, or C#
  • Experience with Ansible automation
  • Experience with database backup, restore, and testing
  • Experience writing technical documentation and diagrams
