Anduril Industries is seeking an Orbital Mission Software Engineer to join their Space team, focusing on expanding AI-powered capabilities in space domain awareness and control. This role involves developing sophisticated software solutions for on-orbit spacecraft operations and mission management, working within the Anduril Lattice software platform ecosystem.

The position requires expertise in spacecraft software systems and satellite mission autonomy, with the ability to architect and deploy complex orbital software systems. You'll be working on critical defense technology, integrating with both legacy systems and new space capabilities, while ensuring robust and reliable solutions for DOD and IC customers.

As a senior member of the team, you'll contribute to software architecture, lead development efforts, and provide technical guidance for modular capabilities supporting space domain operations. The role involves working with cutting-edge technology in space systems, including multi-modal payload platforms, bus platforms, and networking solutions for proliferated satellite constellations.

The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, practical experience with languages like Python, C++, Rust, or Go, and a deep understanding of spacecraft operations. You'll need to be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
