Description For Analytics and Data Scientist for Product Marketing - Customer Analytics

Join Apple's analytics engineering team building next-generation decision support capabilities for iPhone, iPad, Watch, Mac and other product lines. As an Analytics and Data Scientist, you'll be part of a rapid-development team focused on customer insights and product installed base analysis. The role combines data engineering, machine learning, and business intelligence to drive crucial insights for Apple's core products.

You'll work directly with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to enhance customer database analytics, develop new capabilities, and support Investor Relations with critical installed base insights for quarterly earnings reporting.   • Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science/Machine Learning teams to improve analytic data quality
  • Build new capabilities, tools and dashboards for special projects
  • Collaborate with Business Management to support Investor Relations with device installed base insights
  • Develop and standardize new metrics and KPIs for cross-functional use
  • Perform ad hoc and exploratory data mining and analysis
  • Script proof of concept database design
  • Use data mining, machine learning and advanced statistical techniques for database classification and predictive capabilities

Requirements For Analytics and Data Scientist for Product Marketing - Customer Analytics

Python
  • BS in data science, statistics, economics, computer science or other quantitative field
  • 3+ years of building database constructs and using data mining, analytics and machine learning
  • Fluency with SQL and Python for coding, database querying and statistical analysis
  • Fluency in Tableau for scaleable business intelligence design
