Job Description

Apple's Camera Silicon Architecture team is seeking a Camera Chipset Architect to help design innovative technology for next-generation camera experiences across Apple products. This role is part of the team that develops innovative silicon solutions for iPhone, iPad, MacBooks, Vision Pro and more, with the goal of pushing the boundaries of the world's most popular cameras.

As a Camera Chipset Architect, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and define next-generation camera silicon architectures. You'll be responsible for system-level modeling, developing architecture specifications, and ensuring requirements are met across all components. The role requires deep expertise in chip design, image processing, and system architecture.

Responsibilities For Camera Chipset Architect

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to explore, define and drive next-generation camera silicon chipset architectures
  • Represent Camera Silicon Architecture team in product definition discussions
  • Perform system level modeling of early concepts
  • Own and develop Chipset Architecture Requirements Specifications
  • Partner with development leaders to ensure system level architectural requirements
  • Review plans and participate in validation planning and testing
  • Support system bring-up and debug at all stages of development

Requirements For Camera Chipset Architect

  • BS degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related fields
  • Experience in chip-level specification definition/ownership
  • System design experience including custom chip development
  • 20+ years of front-end chip design experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
