Description For Cellular Systems Simulations Integration Engineer

At Apple, we're looking for a talented Cellular Systems Simulations Integration Engineer to join our Hardware team in San Diego. This role sits at the intersection of wireless technology innovation and system design, focusing on developing sophisticated simulation platforms for cellular technologies in Apple devices.

As a Cellular Systems Simulations Integration Engineer, you'll be working on pioneering wireless SoC products, specifically focusing on physical layer systems. You'll be responsible for designing and developing innovative cross-layer simulation model infrastructure and toolsets that play a crucial role in cellular R&D across Apple teams.

The role involves integrating PHY reference models in various simulation environments, managing simulator configurations, and implementing 4G/5G PHY models for pre-silicon verification. You'll work with cutting-edge wireless technologies, contributing to link-level simulator modeling and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement project requirements.

We offer a competitive compensation package starting from $135,400 to $250,600, along with comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, stock options, and education reimbursement. This is an opportunity to work on challenges that no one has solved yet and contribute to products that impact millions of Apple customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of relevant experience, expert knowledge in Python and C/C++, and strong background in wireless communication systems. You'll be joining a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence in pushing the boundaries of wireless technology.
