This role combines traditional quality engineering expertise with modern data science and AI capabilities.

The position requires a unique blend of manufacturing quality expertise and technical data skills. You'll be responsible for implementing quality improvement initiatives, conducting failure analyses, and developing quality monitoring systems. A key aspect of the role involves leveraging Python programming and Tableau visualization to automate processes and derive insights from manufacturing data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in quality engineering principles while being comfortable with modern data tools and AI applications. You'll work on integrating AI workflows to enhance quality processes, making them more efficient and scalable. This includes developing smart search capabilities, automated report generation, and intelligent issue triage systems.

The role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies at Apple's scale, directly impacting product quality across global manufacturing operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and software development to implement innovative quality solutions.

This position comes with competitive compensation including base pay between $128,400 and $236,700, plus additional benefits such as stock options, comprehensive healthcare, and education reimbursement. The role requires up to 25% international travel and is based in Cupertino, California.
