As a DFT Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for verifying the functionality of DFT logic, working closely with architecture, RTL designers, and DFT designers. You'll develop and execute test plans, create testbenches, debug simulation failures, and ensure comprehensive coverage of all test cases. Your expertise in digital design, verification methodologies, and programming will be crucial in delivering high-quality products to millions of customers.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills in computer architecture, digital design, and Verilog, along with excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of DFT concepts, JTAG, MBIST, and scan methodologies is highly valued. Responsibilities For CPU DFT Verification Engineer
- Work closely with architecture, RTL designers, and DFT designers on verifying the functionality correctness of the DFT logic
- Execute test plans for DFT logic
- Develop testbenches and tests according to test plans
- Debug simulation failures
- Develop coverage monitors and analyze coverage to ensure all test cases in the plans are covered
- Develop Verilog checkers or assertions to verify the design
- Work with the silicon bringup team on developing tests that help the silicon bring up effort
Requirements For CPU DFT Verification Engineer
- Minimum BS
- Computer architecture knowledge
- Digital design knowledge including using Verilog for digital design
