Job Description

Apple delivers the most popular cameras in the world, pushing the boundaries of traditional camera engineering with complex imaging solutions. As data volumes grow across camera simulations, performance calibrations, and measurements, we need to build a comprehensive data layer enabling efficient reporting, customized applications, and ML analysis.

As a Data Engineer on our Cloud Infrastructure team, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing observability solutions for Camera Data Engineering products and infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to automate and manage cloud-native services deployment, create powerful monitoring tools, and develop AI-powered solutions.

The role offers an opportunity to work with both public and on-prem cloud providers, implementing infrastructure as code and building robust data pipelines. You'll collaborate with talented engineers to deliver best-in-class solutions while having the chance to mentor others and share your expertise in observability and AI integration.

Key technologies you'll work with include AWS services (EKS, S3), Kubernetes, observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus), and modern CI/CD practices. The position offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to impact how millions of people capture and experience photography through Apple's innovative camera technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled data engineer passionate about building scalable infrastructure, implementing observability solutions, and working with cutting-edge AI and cloud technologies at one of the world's most influential technology companies.
