As a Design Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for verifying the functionality and performance of Apple's premier SOCs. This is a critical role within Apple's Hardware Technology organization where you'll work with dedicated teams at the heart of chip design efforts.
You'll collaborate across all fields in a vertical product model, owning the quality assurance of SOC or IP subsystems. Your responsibilities include reviewing design and architecture specifications while working closely with design & micro-architecture teams. Understanding functional & performance goals is key as you develop test plans, coverage plans, and define next-generation verification methodology.
The role involves working on exciting technologies such as Neural Engine hardware, DRAM subsystems, encode/decode systems for ProRes, hardware security, high-speed IO standards, power management, memory cache, and display subsystems. You can choose to focus deeply on one main IP or expand your expertise across multiple subsystems.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills in digital verification, SystemVerilog, computer architecture, and programming. You'll need excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive test cases that ensure product quality.
