Description For Mac System EPM (Engineering Program Manager)

Apple is seeking a Mac System Engineering Program Manager to join their dedicated team responsible for driving new product development from concept to launch. The position involves managing complex hardware development processes, facilitating critical product decisions, and orchestrating system hardware development.

Responsibilities For Mac System EPM (Engineering Program Manager)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system hardware, features and schedule baseline
  • Manage program baseline and active investigations, system schedule, critical paths and technical risks
  • Identify and highlight engineering risk areas and partner with engineering experts for mitigation
  • Communicate project status, issues and escalations to project core team and senior leadership

Requirements For Mac System EPM (Engineering Program Manager)

  • BS degree in Engineering required (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)
  • 1-4+ years of project management experience
  • Experience leading multiple teams in new product development
  • Led at least 2 product development cycles for systems with hardware and software integration
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to handle rapid development cycles and constant change
