Machine Learning Engineer - LLM/ML Developer Tools

The Video Computer Vision org at Apple is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in LLM/ML Developer Tools. This role is part of a centralized applied research and engineering team responsible for developing real-time on-device Computer Vision and Machine Perception technologies across Apple products. The team focuses on a balance of research and development to deliver Apple quality, state-of-the-art experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing reliable and scalable web services for ML developers
• Creating effective ML dev workflows
• Building infrastructure to serve internal services using large models (e.g., LLM, vision model)
• Working with world-class talents in visualization, on-device optimization, and ML tools/platforms
• Potentially publishing novel research at top HCI / ML conferences

The ideal candidate should have experience with developer tools, HCI for building robust and user-friendly tools, machine learning model development, and strong prototyping skills. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
