Description For MLB Product Engineer

Apple is seeking an experienced MLB Product Engineer to join their Operations and Supply Chain team in Cupertino. This role combines electrical engineering expertise with product development and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of electrical design experience and strong technical capabilities in both digital and analog systems.

The role involves leading new product introductions, driving quality improvements, and managing complex cross-functional projects. You'll work closely with Product Design, Test, Product Quality, Supplier Quality, Contract Manufacturers, and field organizations to ensure the delivery of high-quality systems. The position requires excellent debug and failure analysis skills, along with strong program management capabilities.

  • Participate in new product introductions
  • Drive key initiatives for improving future designs
  • Perform MLB Debug & failure analysis
  • Manage program-related communication to executive management
  • Lead quality improvement teams
  • Participate in Field Failure Analysis efforts
  • Drive systemic yield improvements and reporting
  • Implement 8D based improvements
  • Analyze and summarize data to drive decisions

Requirements For MLB Product Engineer

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years experience in electrical design (digital and analog)
  • Experience with system design, component I/O, Power delivery, Power electronics
  • Familiar with design and schematic tools
  • Knowledge of board and system electronic test strategies
  • Excellence in organization and program management
  • Strong skills in failure analysis of systems, circuits, and components
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with data mining/data analysis methods
